About Willow

Willow is the only national charity supporting seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds by providing unique and positive Special Days.

100% of profits from all the products you buy will help Willow provide Special Days for more people like Julie.

For Julie's very festive Special Day, Willow arranged for her to have a Christmas break away together with her family. She told us:

Julie's Special Day"It was wonderful to see my 8 year old son so carefree and my husband more relaxed that I’ve seen in a long time. It truly was a fantastic weekend and many happy memories have been made. I feel blessed to have been given this opportunity by Willow and would like to thank you again from the bottom of my heart."

For some their Special Day is the opportunity to return some normality to their lives. For others it is the last chance to fulfil a dream. But for all, it is a life-affirming experience that can lift spirits, reunify families and be a source of strength when it’s needed most.

To date, Willow has provided more than 13,500 Special Days for young adults diagnosed with a life-threatening condition such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis and Huntington’s disease.

Founded by former Arsenal goalkeeper and TV presenter, Bob Wilson and his wife, Megs, Willow is a lasting memorial to their daughter, Anna, who died of cancer aged 31. Anna’s love of life and the enriching experiences of her own Special Days were the charity’s inspiration.

Willow is totally reliant on the generosity of individuals, companies, trusts and foundations to fund its work.
